DescriptionFilmed in Super 8mm, HomeSpun Adventures takes you back to Crescent City, California for the summer and fall of 1972. Most of the "characters" featured were sharing a small house on Pebble Beach where one could just look out of the window to check the surf. In addition to filming some of the surfing, impromptu vignettes seemed to materialize whenever there was a fresh roll of film.Delightfully paired with an eclectic soundtrack with music by Diminished Men, Available Jelly, R. Crumb and his Keep on Truckin' Orchestra, Hi Jink, Galaxy Trio and others, HomeSpun Adventures loosley documents a small slice of those times. Cowabunga!
