And since, upon the release of this album, The Astronauts will become a national phenomenon and byword, that question might just as well be answered right now. Fact is, they call themselves The Astronauts because they are absolutely the highest surfing group in the United States. And we mean like their home base is Boulder, Colorado, way up in the Rockies, just around the corner from the Air Force Academy and the real live astronauts.
