DescriptionGreg on building his replica boards, “Nowadays, everybody’s interested in the evolution of the surfboard. I’m getting up in my years and this is my way of staying connected to the sport. Until you die, once you’re involved in surfing it never gets completely out of your bloodstream. I’ve driven my family totally nuts. We are in Hawaii, they want to go to the beach, and here I am burying myself for hours in the archives at the Bishop Museum. So this idea started to come on to recreate these boards.
