DescriptionThis board's construction was typical of the 1930s and early 1940s, with solid redwood rails and center strip, balsa sections for weight reduction, a flat deck, no fin, and a varnished finish. It belonged to Bill “Billy Boneyard” Higdon of Newport Beach, who surfed this board at San Onofre and Dana Point.
