DescriptionBoardroom takes you on an epic journey back in time as surfing started along the California coast. Featuring the most influential surfboard builders from the 1950s and 60s. When board builders like Greg Noll, Bing Copeland, and Hap Jacobs started building wooden surfboards in their garages. At a time when surfers were considered beach bums and renegades, these men took it upon themselves to establish surfing and make it socially acceptable. Fueled by new materials, as well as movies like "Gidget" and "The Endless Summer", the sport of surfing grew from a few dedicated water men to millions along the Southern California shores and around the world.
