DescriptionJohn E. “The Jet” Thurston was Hobie’s second or third employee. He grew up in Laguna Beach, was a childhood friend of Dick Metz, and had family that had lived for generations in the Laguna area. Later he moved to Santa Barbara and shaped for Renny Yater. This board is solid balsa with no logo. It has a fiberglass fin and an unusual squarish shape. On View
