DescriptionSanoe Lake, a long time Billabong team rider is a native Hawaiian and truly a part of surfing royalty, her bloodline traces back to famed Hawaiian King Kamehameha. Her mother Lanoe, won numerous surfing championships and is one of the legendary Waikiki Beach Riders and her father is a Big Wave surfer in Hawaii as well. Her grandfather was a member of the Kahuanu Lake Trio while her grandmother at the of age 72 was an avid rough-water swimmer. Sanoe has been a guest host on numerous MTV specials, as well as surfing shows around the globe. Of the three stars of the film “Blue Crush”, Sanoe was the only one who actually surfed and could perform her own stunts.
