DescriptionThis was the first surfboard Hobie Alter ever shaped, made in the Alter family home’s garage on Oak Street in Laguna Beach California. The board was sold to Dave Monahan, but at some point Monahan’s son took off the glass and sawed off the nose, in an effort to reshape it—the board was originally a 10' square tail. It is currently on display in the Dana Point Hobie Surf Shop.On View
