Description“If anybody was ever to get the credit of being the ‘Father of the Modern Surfboard,’ I would say it would have to be Simmons. He changed board design in a shorter period of time than anybody has before or since...” – Reynolds “Renny” Yater

This board is a good example of the typical Bob Simmons spoon shape. It is made with fiberglass over balsa. It has a plethora of patches, a 2 oz. cloth, and a wood fin.
