DescriptionThis board features the first Velzy logo which signifies the board was probably built while Dale was occupying his first “shop” in Manhattan Beach. It is of the Malibu Chip era of design. Velzy's son Matt was named after Matt Kivlin, a famous surfer and shaper from the Malibu area. Matt and Joe Quigg helped Bob Simmons to produce a production line of "Sandwich" model surfboards.
