DescriptionCirca 1969-71, Hynson shaped this Rainbow surfboard for the big, steep waves of Petacalco, Mexico. This board was airbrushed by Johnny Bredin, aka "Starman" (or "Star Shields" as he currently goes by). There’s a hollow in the nose where lead weights were added to help get it down the face of waves faster. It is one of three boards all shaped around the same time.
